Tanya Poirot, Licensed Massage TherapistTanya Poirot, Licensed Massage Therapist

Tanya was born and raised in Russia in the family of a military doctor and has lived in the U.S. since 1999. She received her Bachelor's degree in English and Literature from Far Eastern State University, after which she received her certification of Massage Therapy and Therapeutic Physical Education from the Pacific Medical College in Vladivostok, Russia. With over 13 years experience, she is proficient in multiple techniques, specializing in Trigger Point Myofascial release.

I set and achieve personal goals, have a strong personality and a good sense of humor. I'm hard working and family oriented, flexible, caring and a good listener, capable of making patients of Kremer Chiropractic Clinic happy with both their physical condition and with themselves. I grew up in a well-educated family; two of my aunts and my father worked in the medical field. At a young age I was extensively taught about the overall importance of good health and nutrition which I promote daily to those I touch.

In Russia it is common in medical practice for chiropractors, massage therapists and physicians to share knowledge and work together for the well being of the patient which is how my father's background sparked my interest in massage therapy. Today I continue to integrate my beliefs in chiropractic care and massage therapy working together in combination for the benefit to the patient's health.

After being a patient at Kremer Chiropractic Clinic for a number of years, seeing how happy the staff was working there and experiencing first hand the top quality care that the patients received, she decided that there was not a better place in town to be. Thus with high hopes and after completing a 915-hour therapeutic massage specialist program at the top of her class, she became the newest professional of the Kremer Chiropractic family. I came to Alaska in 1996. I enjoy hunting, fishing, snowboarding, snow machining and poker. I worked various jobs before beginning my journey into the medical field. I began at Providence Hospital in 1996 where I worked for three years. In 2000 I ventured into the world of chiropractic. I have been with Kremer Chiropractic Clinic now for seven years. In these seven years I have learned much about the benefits of chiropractic. I truly believe that a life with chiropractic is by far much better than one without. In my own experience, I sustained some injuries in 1992 but never sought treatment. As I watched patients with their own set of circumstances go through treatment, I realized that I too could live a more comfortable and pain-free life with the assistance of chiropractic care.

I'm new to the chiropractic field and am excited to be here, working with Dr. Kremer and Dr. Jessica. My position in the billing department is working closely with Tom toward the clinic's goal of helping our patients get the absolute best care possible. I also work closely with Jennifer, Debbie and Mackinzie at the front desk, setting up therapies and processing all the necessary paperwork to help patients with financial arrangements. As busy as this office is, we all manage to have a lot of fun with the patients and with each other.

A little about myself: I'm a Chicagoan, so I'm bound by some kind of law to cheer for the Cubs…and it's genetic, I think, to crave deep dish pizza and be used to icy winds in the winter. After earning a degree in History, I lived a bit of a Bedouin lifestyle-moving approximately every two years to vacation destinations. I have a passion for travel and working for Borders Books as a manager for seven years from Florida to Singapore to Alaska was a lot of fun. I've been in Alaska for seven years now, so this just might be my stopping place. My passions are working out with my boyfriend, Wil, competing in Figure competitions and watching Food Network, hoping to glean some cooking skills from Alton Brown.

Hi, my name is Debbie and I'm a chiropractic assistant with Kremer Chiropractic Clinic. I first came to the clinic eight years ago as a patient with back pain. After being treated at the clinic I could live without pain which was wonderful. I was so impressed with the care I received that I joined the staff six years ago. I wish that someone had mentioned to me about chiropractic care earlier in my life. I believe I would not have experienced such pain. I am a firm believer in chiropractic care. It keeps me bowling, sewing and biking through the winters and summers in Alaska.

Patient care is my number one priority. I wish for all of our patients to be pain-free just as I am. My motto is continued chiropractic care for life!

Having been a competitive gymnast for ten years I had plenty of occasions when I needed chiropractic care to keep my body healthy. Fortunately, my dad is Dr. Kremer. I know the benefits of chiropractic care for a wide variety of health issues as well as sports injuries. I am glad to be part of the team to serve the patients of Kremer Chiropractic Clinic.
